News and Updates

Open Day January 2026

At the end of January we welcomed current and new members to our Open Day at Culworth Grounds. It was a fantastic morning with an opportunity to meet the three new 2yo’s joining the club this year as well as an update on the three 3yo fillies in the club. We were delighted to also welcome NFWA racing club trainers Pat Owens and Stuart Williams who gave insightful updates on Due Destiny, Echo That and Loleeta.

After a tour of the various yards, meeting the latest foals and a drive round the farm it was a joy to step back in to the warm and enjoy a delicious lunch on a chilly January day.

Great fun had by all and we cannot wait to see lots of members on the racecourse soon!

2025 Roundup

2025 proved to be another successful year for the No Fun Winning Alone Racing Club, with all three horses getting valuable racecourse experience and laying strong foundations for the future.

The standout performer was Loleeta, who enjoyed an excellent campaign in our colours. She began her season with two solid fourth-place finishes, followed by an encouraging second, before rounding off the year in style with a well-deserved victory at Lingfield — a fantastic moment for the club.

Both Due Destiny and Echo That ran well during the season and have since returned home to Culworth Grounds to continue their strength and conditioning programmes in preparation for hitting the track in 2026. Due Destiny and Echo That will join Pat Owens for the upcoming season. Loleeta will remain in training with Stuart Williams, who has guided her progression so well.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome three new two-year-olds into the Racing Club for 2026, meaning we will have six horses running this season. With a growing team and plenty to look forward to, 2026 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet.

Loleeta wins at Lingfield

Loleeta got the No Fun Winning Alone Racing Club off the mark for 2025 with a brilliant victory at Lingfield. After showing promise with two 4th-place finishes, and a close 2nd on her last start, she delivered in style to bring home our first win of the season — an exciting moment for all racing club members and hopefully the first of many!

Due Destiny and Loleeta make their debut

Our 2025 campaign is underway, and both Loleeta and Due Destiny have shown plenty of promise in their opening runs. Due Destiny has already picked up a 4th-place finish, while Loleeta has twice finished 4th, running with credit each time. Both fillies are shaping up well and giving racing club members plenty to look forward to as the season unfolds.

2024 Roundup

2024, our inaugural season was one to remember for the No Fun Winning Alone Racing Club. With three horses flying the flag, we enjoyed plenty of days at the races and shared some great moments together. The standout was undoubtedly Glitterati, who proved a real star — winning twice, finishing 2nd twice and posting a 3rd! Glitterati gave us not only success on the track but also the thrill of celebrating as a racing club reminding us all why ownership is so special. Here’s to building on that momentum in 2025!
